 ADB Overture's name comes from Alan(A),  Debra (D), and their last Name Baisley(B). They are the band's founders. The band came about due to their love of Music & their love of having fun with People. 

Overture in Music means prelude, introduction, opening. 

 

ADB is here to open the doors into a journey thru Music. Music is healing and can take Us away for a period of time to  heal.  Where, You might ask can it take You? It can take You to times when life was simpler, to good times, to memories of People who are no longer with You. Music is used to set the mood in many events and most People have a favorite song, 

Plus Music is Fun! And We love to have fun. 

 

Alan has over 40+ years in playing guitar professionally, is a Recording Artist and a Music teacher. He recieved the Arion Music award in His Sr. year of High School. He has played Lead guitar in several Va. Peninsula Bands such as Fortress & For Play.  He plays Lead guitar for Roy Moats and has been on the radio show "Hunter at SunRise" with Roy.  He also played at the Aikens Music Festival with Roy in 2013. Alan has recorded with the local Christian R&B Group, NBTT on all their CD's and helped co- write some of the songs on their CD's.  

 

Debra is Our Lead Singer and comes from a Family of Musicians & Singers. She had an offer to go to Nashville to record when She was 15 but turned it down due to Family obligations. She has been singing in various venues all her life. She loves all styles of Music. She has been influenced by Patsy Cline to Fleetwood Mac to Aretha Franklin and etc. Debra is a Recording Artist and together, She and Alan released a CD in which Alan wrote the songs. She also plays a variety of percussion instuments. 

 

Lin Floyd is Our Rhythm guitarist and Lead Singer and is crucial in helping decide what music People enjoy and has a background of being a DJ for over 25 years. Lin played in a BlueGrass band while He was in college.  He has been heard playing in several of the Va. Peninsula Open Mics and writes Originals. 

 

Whatever Your needs are Musically, We  can fill it. We can come as a 3 piece Band or a 5 piece band with the help of a couple of very highly talented Fun Loving Musicians. We do Wedding receptions, Private parties, Back yard BBQ's, Indoor & Outdoor gigs, camp grounds, etc.
